To help keep class prices low, The STARS Foundation Board of Directors has instituted a monthly membership fee, which will take effect for the Fall 2017 semester. This fee is necessary for the continued growth of our program. The fee will be $10/month per family.
STARS Foundation membership covers the following:
The STARS Foundation is a non-profit organization. As such, the Foundation is funded by grants and the donations of those in our communities who are moved to support and give to this wonderful program. In order for STARS to continue providing these services, students who do not comply with payment policies will be excused from the program.
The Board of Directors will review each student every quarter. If a student does not comply with these requirements, he or she will be given a warning. After a second warning, the student will be excused from the school.
Piano students will pay $30 per month or 4 hours of community service.
Instrumentalists will pay $20 per month for lessons/classes or 4 hours of community service. Three or more family members will pay a maximum of $60 per month.
If a student is renting an instrument from STARS, he or she can pay a minimum of $10 or more per month in addition to class fees or perform an additional two hours of community service. Instruments are only available according to funding and may need to be relinquished at any time.
Dance students will pay $30 per month for the first class and $15 for each additional class, or 4 hours of community service for the first class and 2 hours for each additional class. There is a $10 costume cleaning fee charged for each child participating in a performance.
