“Though the STARS Foundation has grown into a new building for the music, art and theater, our busy dance program remains at 519 Main Street,” STARS executive director Rebecca Peterson said. “It is filled with clogging, ballet, jazz, hip hop, and gymnastic tumbling. Our instructors are certified professionals from the Springfield area.
“Some of our students will have the opportunity this year to perform with the Russian Ballet Nutcracker from Russia in November, and New York Broadway performers in three Broadway musicals will be giving the STARS students master classes in theater during the next year. We welcome any students who would like to participate. The STARS Foundation strives to provide opportunities to students that will affect their future in the fine arts. Feel free to visit our website at www.thestarsfoundation.org.”
